Fiberglass roofing tissue is mainly used as the substrate for waterproof roofing materials, such as waterproofing membrane, asphalt shingle, etc. It is characterized by high tensile strength, water & corrosion resistance, dimensional stability, high porosity and easy saturation with bitumen. The longitudinal strength can be improved further by incorporating reinforcements in the machine direction. Roofing products with fiber glass tissue has high strength, excellent uniformity, good weathering performance and resistance to leaking and aging.
 

Application of Fiberglass roofing tissue:
 
An ideal substrate material for asphalt roofing rolls and shingles
Act as the lining for roof insulation layers to protect polymer foam insulation from the damaging effect caused by
chemical solvents in bitumen, so as to prolong the lifetime of heat insulation layer.
